E-foamy makes it easy for you to have fun flying.
What is EPP
EPP is an expanded Polypropylene foam. There are only a couple of manufactures in the US and it is not stocked in stored like Lowe's or Home Depot. Many foams have been tried over the years to replace it but none can match the stiffness or resilience. It allows us to build light weight planes that can flex or bounce when crashed. It is possible to break it but easily glues back together.
Why our planes are great for beginners
The majority of our planes are designed for flying indoors. This means that they can fly slow and stable which is what beginners need. This combined with bounce ability makes for an easy to fly airplane with out the worry of destroying it before you learn to fly.
Why our planes are great for advanced
Although our planes can fly slow and stable this does not limit their performance. Case in point, most customers find that the Yak 55 has helped them expand their aerobatic capability. As far as durability, I have found that the better pilots crash these planes more often than beginners because they can really push their abilities with out fear of losing a plane.
How we build
My kits are cut by hand using quality templates. This allows me to keep my prices down with out sacrificing quality. As my sales increase I will start having some kits cut by water jet but they will maintain the same quality as my hand cut kits.
